Hamburg (Germany) – From 2014 the take-e-way GmbH will offer the WEEE complete processing for photovoltaic modules for a price of presumably less than 1 Euro per module.
This price includes the registration, the approved collective guarantee, the recycling as well as taking over of all obligations of reporting and documentation.
take-e-way will present its services at the Intersolar Europe in Munich (booth B2.535).
Low prices because of high number of customers and established systems
take-e-way processes by exceptionally low administrative costs due to more than 2,800 active customers.
The execution of more than 20,000 registrations in the last 10 years has been continuously optimized by ISO certified processes.
The most cost-efficient price of take-e-way is also obtainable by using the established EAR system with 1,664 collection points.
Thus, take-e-way avoids a cost-intensive parallel system just for the take-back of PV modules.
The calculation is based on crystalline modules with a weight of about 20 kgs.
For lighter modules, as they are being expected on the market in the future, it may even be charged less.
Thus, take-e-way offers a market-oriented price calculation on the basis of the actual costs. The prices are not based on the turnover but on the actual selling quantity of the manufacturers.
The PV manufacturers are disburdened from high additional cost resulting of the WEEE directive.
take-e-way offers all services also for the PV peripherals
PV peripherals have to be WEEE registered already today.
take-e-way offers its WEEE service for all photovoltaic components.
Therefore, from 2014 on take-e-way customers only have to register their PV modules additionally.
Beside the low costs of take-e-way service this is a core advantage towards industry-specific take-back systems.
