Depot container – take-e-way and AWSH collect small electronic devices in Südholstein (southern part of Holstein)

The AWSH and take-e-way are cooperating in order to develop a mutually convenient solution for the citizens and the commerce in taking back and recycling small electronic devices.

(Hamburg/Elmenhorst, Germany) In order to be able to competently meet a voluntary or forced take back of electrical and electronic used devices in commerce, the AWSH and take-e-way are cooperating in order to develop a mutually convenient solution for the citizens and the commerce in taking back and recycling small electronic devices. The unbureaucratic handling of the AWSH allows to start the collection of small electronic devices in the regions Herzogtum Lauenburg and Stormarn in depot containers and bins within short time.

26 locations in Südholstein (southern part of Holstein)

From now on, it is possible to dispose of small electronic devices at 26 locations beside waste glass, waste paper and worn clothing.

The exact locations are listed in the Internet under www.awsh.de/privatkunden/service-und-beratung/depotcontainer.

The containers were specially developed for the collection of small electronic devices. Pictograms on the container indicate which kind of devices may be inserted.

Lamps and batteries are collected separately

Fluorescent tubes, energy-saving lamps, batteries and accumulators are collected separately and can be delivered to the 13 recycling yards of the AWSH or to the hazardous waste truck.

Citizen-orientated collections, professional recycling

The citizens can dispose of used small electrical appliances daily and at collections organized near private dwellings in the known collection sites.

Thus, they are not bound to the opening hours of the recycling yards when disposing of most kinds of devices.

If you insert your used electronic devices in the container you may be sure that the recycling is performed in a professional and environmentally compatible manner and that the raw materials are safely recycled from the used devices.

Stopping of illegal collections

In addition, another option is created in order to avoid that devices are disposed of together with household waste.

Thus it is possible to stop illegal collections.

Used electronic devices can also be delivered free of charge to the 13 recycling yards of the AWSH.
